The Intergenerational Transmission of Marital Aggression
Kalmuss Surveyed 2,143 adults and found that the "modeling of marital aggression does
not appear to be sex specific". Thus, a boy who observes his father hitting his
mother is just as likely to engage in violence acts as an adult as a daughter who
observes her father hitting her mother.
